The BDFA provides, free of charge, 'experience of a
lifetime' trial flying lessons for up to 20 terminally ill
& disabled people every year, subsidised flying days
for other disability charities and also at cost instruction
& qualification flight training to BDFA members.
It is a surprise to many disabled people that flying is
very much a possibility for people with a range of
disabilities, indeed disabled flying can provide a level of
challenge and exhilaration that may be difficult to find
anywhere else.
